Jeff sits down with Ian Adair and Scott Goldscher to talk about the marriage between education and professional mentorships with economic financial planning for all schools and educators.

Ian AdairIan Adair have 16 years of management and fundraising experience in nonprofit and education. As a professional fundraiser Ian has raised more than $30 Million Dollars, given over 300 professional presentations, managed more than 200 employees, and authored curriculum for numerous education programs. Ian travels around the country speaking to teachers and administrators about taking funding matters into their own hands and seeking out the community partnerships to help implement innovative programs and provide students with needed technology.

Ian holds a Bachelor’s Arts in Psychology from Westminster College and a Master’s of Science in Family and Child Development from the University of Central Oklahoma. Ian maintain four current teaching certifications and I’m an Adjunct Professor of Child Development and Family Relations. Ian taught in the Palm Beach County School District for three years and was a special projects coordinator for a Technology Center (CTE School) in Norman, Oklahoma for two and a half years. Ian also holds graduate certificates in Advanced Leadership Studies from Clemson University and Public Health from the University of North Carolina. In 2007-2008 Ian authored the curriculum for the Pre-Teacher Education Academy for the Palm Beach County School District. The academy program was offered to middle school students to learn about careers in education, family and child development, and early child education.

Dr. Scott Goldcher
I have been a physician and educator for over eighteen years. For thirteen years as a Chiropractic Physician I was responsible for educating my patients on a daily basis along with all of the administrative duties that come with operating a business.  I have spent the past seven years in public education as an instructor and Academy Coordinator with involvement in curriculum development and implementation as well as budget forecasting and the writing of project proposals.
