Jeff sits down with Kirill Kireyev and Andrew Bender to discuss how instaGrok is being used by teachers and students to make research, learning and content sharing simple and fun for all.

About instaGrok

Our mission is to make it incredibly simple to research, learn, and share information. Users explore graphical concept maps that show how ideas connect. They can also customize the maps (with key facts, links, and images) and share them, too.

Andrew Bender / President and CEO
Andrew is responsible for strategy, marketing, and overall operations of InstaGrok. Previously he was Founder and President of Eleven Learning, an open source textbook publishing platform. He also ran SugarLoot, a social network which at the time had over 3 million monthly uniques. Andrew has an MBA from Kellogg and an AB in engineering from Dartmouth.

 

 

Kirill Kireyev / Founder and CTO
Kirill is the founder of instaGrok. He is responsible for the development of the algorithms and technical infrastructure. He has a PhD in cognitive and computer science from the University of Colorado as well as a BS in computer science from Cornell. He’s been building learning applications for over six years.
