AdamBellow 150Adam Bellow, Founder and President of eduTecher began his career in education as an Assistant English Teacher at a High School for students with learning disabilities in New York City. After earning a Masters Degree in both General and Special Education at Hunter College, where he taught a graduate level course on integrating technology into the special education classroom, Adam became an English teacher at a High School on Long Island for several years. Then his two passions collided – Technology and Education – as he became a Technology Training Specialist for a school district on Long Island. Currently, Adam works as the Director of Educational Technology for the College Board Schools. This job allows Adam to work with educational leaders, teachers, and students from around the United States to help them infuse technology successfully in the classroom. Adam was recognized in 2010 as an Emerging Leader by ISTE (International Society for Technology in Education) as well as a finalist for the 2010 Totally Wired Teacher of Year award. Adam is happily married and the father of two wonderful boys.

Adam enjoys participating and presenting at conferences and workshops around the world and has had the distinct privilege of having been asked to speak at ISTE, FETC, ICE, TECH Forum, TSETC, NYSCATE, BOCES, ASSET and many more. Steve Dembo 150As a former kindergarten teacher and school Director of Technology Steve Dembo is a pioneer in the field of educational social networking. Currently serving as Discovery Education’s Director of Social Media Strategy and Online Community, Dembo was among the first educators to realize the power of blogging, podcasting, Twitter, and other Web 2.0 technologies in connecting educators and creating professional learning communities. He has been instrumental in the explosive growth of the Discovery Educator Network and its online presence athttp://community.discoveryeducation.com.

Dembo is the co-author of the book Untangling the Web: 20 Tools to Power Up Your Teaching. The National School Board Association named him one of 2010′s “Twenty to Watch,” a list honoring individuals finding innovative ways to use technology to increase classroom learning. In 2013 he began serving the Skokie/Morton Grove District 69 as a member of the School Board. Dembo is a course designer and adjunct professor for Wilkes University where he serves as class instructor for the Internet Tools for Teaching course within the Instructional Media degree program..
In 2006, the Discovery Educator Network (DEN) website, which was created and managed by Dembo, was honored with an Award of Excellence from Technology and Learning magazine. The DEN site was honored again in 2007 with a Distinguished Achievement Award for Instructional Website from the Association of Educational Publishers, and in 2008 with a BESSIE Award for Best Professional Development Website. In 2009 the Discovery Educator Network was the recipient of the inaugural Best in Tech award for Professional Development and Resource Solutions by Scholastic Administrator magazine.
Steve Dembo is also a dynamic speaker on the capabilities of social networking, the power of educational technologies and Web 2.0 tools, and the ability of digital content to empower teachers to improve student achievement. He has delivered keynote and featured presentations at dozens of conferences including ISTE, TCEA, FETC, MACUL, GaETC, METC, CUE, ICE, TEDxCorpus Christi, #140Edu, EduWeb and the Social Media Masters Summit. Dembo also participated in Nokia Open Labs as an expert on mobile phone integration in education.
