Dave GladneyDave Gladney is the Project Manager for the Learning Resource Metadata Initiative (LRMI), a project funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to develop a standard metadata framework for tagging instructional materials on the web. Dave oversees AEP’s efforts to build awareness and encourage adoption of the LRMI throughout the educational resource community.

Dave joined AEP as Writer/Editor in 2004 after completing the graduate writing program at Rowan University. Before moving on to the LRMI, he was AEP’s marketing manager from 2008-2011. Dave is a graduate of Rutgers University, where he received a B.A. in English and spent two years as a staff writer for the school newspaper, The Daily Targum.

 

Gail Dickinson is associate professor of school librarianship at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.  She is president-elect of the American Association of School Librarians and is also editor-in-chief of Library Media Connection magazine.
