#Patue Weekly Guest and Topic:
Pedagogy and Technology Tuesday is talking about flipped instruction using a livescribe pen.  The talk will be live from 4-5 PST on Tuesday, followed by a chat “beyond digital citizenship” with @MrMacnology  empowering students online.

Rick Wormeli and Darin Jolly were rock stars in this week’s chat.  I managed to get locked up in twitter jail and at least 112 people actively participated in this raging chat about Standards based grading.  This have inspired me to try to change my own use of and perception of grading by dropping the word from my vocabulary.  I will assess, respond, etc, but all for purposes beyond putting a number on a piece of paper.
